Life is Leela - the Devine Play
Life is a Leela - the divine Play. We are here to play. We are here to enjoy. This life is just a drama and we should laugh and enjoy every scene of it.
Why is it that it's hard for us to look at it this way? Why is it so unimaginable to experience it in our everyday lives?
All our suffering is because we are constantly saying "NO" to life.
In every situation we resist what is happening to us. We don't like the way things are unfolding and we are constantly trying to steer life in the desired direction. We want the "what IS" to become "what we WANT IT TO BE". The gap between what is and what you want it to be is what is causing us suffering.
Because we are constantly saying NO to what is, our thoughts per second rise in planning and figuring out how we could change the present moment, that's why we are never present. Our mind is taking us away from the present moment. It's taking us either to the future - planning what should be happening, or to the past - regretting that the "good old times" are gone.
We are constantly jumping from past to future and future to past, we are never living in the NOW. This is how our life is slowly escaping literally through our fingers as we can't grab what is and just ENJOY.
But enjoying the Leela is the only way to enjoy life.
Planning and regretting is not living, it's suffering. It is exhausting and frustrating.
If we accept WHAT IS our mind will automatically drop and we will come to the present moment.
In our life there are three things we need to pay attention to.
The Seer (you)
The Seen (the scene)
The Seeing (the process of seeing or our view on the situation).
We need to understand that the Seer, the Seen and the Seeing are independent of each other at all times and in all circumstances.
When we have a pleasant experience at one time we automatically expect that the same situation in the future (the Seen or Seeing) will bring us (the Seer) the exact same experience as before.
However, this is not so. Because the river keeps flowing, we keep changing and every situation is new at every moment, the Seen can never have the same affect on the Seer and the Seeing will be completely different.
When you lose your attachment to the outcome that the Seen has on the Seer in the process of Seeing and understand that they are all ever changing and independent at all times, you will be fresh and relaxed in every moment.
Whether you believe it or not:
The SEER is new and fresh every moment.
The SEEN is new and fresh every moment.
The SEEING is new and fresh every moment.
They are independent of each other, there is no connection between them.
Don't label them. Don't put expectations on them. Understand that the river is flowing, you are new, they are new, everything is new and updated every moment.
Go with the flow. Enjoy the Leela.
Say YES to life.

It is simply and beautifully explained about how the seer, the seen and the seeing are independent of each other. To expect the old experience is to be stuck in the past which is stagnant. Reality is a river ever flowing, so always go with the current and you will come across new phenomena. Just love it. Expect more posts on enlightenment and reality.
